Just a note to say I enjoyed your excellent site. I went through the lot, and it confirms that some people never grow up - I'm glad to find I'm not alone in that.
You seem to have kept even more of your hair than I have (but then I never did keep much of your hair really). Above all, I get the feeling that you are happy and that's most important and I'm delighted to see it.
I met Denise in 1979, and went down on one knee in the shadow of Notre Dame and asked her to marry me in 1981. She said no, but relented a few months later and we are still together. After 15 years the quiet was shattered by Carey - who's now 10 (see [above]).
We've ended up in a wrecked 400 year old farmhouse in Kent. Tranquil, beautiful and everything doesn't work yet. Sadly this includes optional comforts like sewage, but that's entirely another tale for another day.
He's also persuaded me to follow in his footsteps and take up karate. I'm the oldest, fattest, slowest student in the dojo - but it's surprisingly good fun.
Paint left and left on your next pair of trainers...
